The Lighthouse (2019) WIP

Here's a very rough WIP that I may or may not have ruined last night (thankfully I took these pics beforehand), and yes, its going to be another realistic charcoal/graphite piece! Dont worry, I will try my very best to fix this piece and to finish it from messing it up. Anyways, this portrait is of the characters Winslow and Wake played by the talented Robert Pattinson & Willem Dafoe, in the new film The Lighthouse directed by Robert Eggers. I absolutely love the rustic late 1800s/early 1900s lighthouse keeper aesthetic and this film absolutely blew it out of the water! I highly suggest you see it if you are into black and white cinematography, filmmaking, and analyzing films. This movie is definitely not for everyone, but I think if you are into more artistic films and like things like especially psychological horror and period pieces, I highly recommend it! 🖤
